(82-11). Two adults, one or two subadults, and two immatures on 21 March 1982 at Grand Isle, Jefferson Parish (B. Mac Myers III, David P. Muth, R. D. Purrington, Tom Vallega).

Up to thirty-five individuals (1981-08; was 82-38), of all recognizable age classes, on the Gulf 2-3 miles west of Holly Beach, Cameron Parish on 14-15 February 1981 (Van Remsen; Mark Robbins, Bruce Crider, Peter Osenton, David Hunter).

A minimum of 55, probably over 100, (1981-14; was 83-9) over the Gulf at Holly Beach, Cameron Parish, on 24-25 January 1981 (Joseph P. Kennedy). All age classes were present, with sub-adult the commonest plumage type and full adult the rarest.

Two (1986-17), one mile southeast of Johnsons Bayou, Cameron Parish, on 2 February 1986 (Donna L. Dittmann, Steven W. Cardiff).

One immature (1985-78; was 86-18) found dead (LSUMZ #126936) about one mile east of Belle Pass, Lafourche Parish, on 11 September 1985 (Donna L. Dittmann; Gary Rosenberg, David P. Muth).

3 or 4 immatures (1985-48; was 86-19) at "Rutherford Beach," 2-10 miles west of the old mouth of the Mermentau River, Cameron Parish, on 20 December 1985 (Donna L. Dittmann, Steven W. Cardiff).
