the birds were flying rapidly and fighting the strong winds |

characteristics. Stress features that separate it from similar species): I could not discern throat color; lighting
too poor. No vocalizations, but the
swifts seemed smaller than Chimney Swifts. |

very similar; they were eliminated based on seasonal distribution. |

before this observation. I have heard
them vocalize on 1-2 of these previous occasions. |
