Habitat: 

Open farm land with some brushy fence lines and scattered trees. Grassy farm yard with buildings and farm equipment spread around the yard.

Behavior of bird: 

Perching in the open and flying around catching insects. Used fence and farm equipment as perches.

Description:

Medium large flycather a little larger in appearance than an Eastern Phoebe. Very dark gray head, back, tail, and wings. Throat slightly paler gray. Legs and bill looked dark. Lower breast, belly, and undertail coverts were dull, rusty, red. White tuft in the shoulder or allula region of folded wing.

Eastern Phoebe by the darker breast and reddish belly.
