13. Habitat: mowed yard (St Augustine + Distichlis) within an intermediate marsh surrounding an open lake with nearby chenier-type canal border (spoil bank).

Perched, swooping to ground for prey; return to perch (not always the same one) to feed; alert; watchful; pictures were taken from nearby dwelling

Dark head; buffy-orange lower belly; dark tail; wingbars;
