(1974-02; formerly 81-2). One adult collected 28 March 1974 by Marshall B. Eyster and Garrie Landry at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George DeSoto in Franklin, St. Mary Parish. Specimen (LSUMZ 95264) is first for Louisiana (see Lowery 1974, La. Birds, p. 405).
(81-11; formerly 1980-04). One adult female found dead 24 October 1980 by Nancy L. Newfield at Metairie, Jefferson Parish. Specimen (LSUMZ 97437) is second of two for Louisiana.
One (1978-02; formerly 81-16) at a feeder in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, during March 1978 (Tom Schulenberg; KM*[?--Editor], et many al.).
One male (1985-57; formerly 86-50) on 15-19 Dec. 1985, East Baton Rouge: Baton Rouge, 5256 Cumberland; Paul McKenzie, Chuck Feerick (LSUMZ #126940), J. V. Remsen, Joe Kleiman, Steven W. Cardiff, Donna L. Dittmann, Catherine Cummins, Peter E. Scott, D. Bruce Crider, Lucille Hendrick, M. Mark Swan, Joan Feerick, Dudley Harrington, Steve Hope, Miriam Davey, Kenneth V. Rosenberg, John A. Gerwin, Tristan J. Davis. The bird was found dead after a hard freeze. Muth (1986, p. 291) reported that the bird was first observed on 7 Dec. 1985.
One (1987-066) on 24 October 1987, Cameron: Hackberry Ridge, 2 mi. WSW Johnsons Bayou School; Michael J. Musumeche. This species was removed from the Review List 28 April 1988.
