Habitat: 

Coastal cheniere; mostly in undergrowth

Behavior of bird: 

Hidden in undergrowth on 4/24; feeding more actively in undergrowth on 4/25; usually within 3 feet of the ground; flitting around actively with much tail movement. Hopped nervously from perch to perch, turning back and forth on small stems and branches in the undergrowth.

Description:

An oporonis with bright yellow underparts, from breast through undertail coverts; olive back. Pale gray head and hood, with gray extending to the upper breast. Whitish or paler gray throat. Distinctive white arcs above and below the dark eye. Overall, the bird appeared relatively long and thin; appeared long-tailed with much tail extending beyond the undertail coverts.
