in neighborhood with beach camps |

relate events surrounding observation): feeding in mixed sparrow flock at
seed on ground. |

15. Description (include only what was actually seen, not
what "should" have been seen; include if possible: total
length/relative size compared to other familiar species, body bulk, shape,
proportions, bill, eye, leg, and plumage characteristics. Stress features
that separate it from similar species): Dull rufous crown, olive-green wing
edges and tail, white throat, dark malar, and white supra-malar. Otherwise gray back extending into lesser
coverts and gray underparts. Given dullish crown and lots of gray in less
coverts, could this be a SY/immature? |

your observation): Olive Sparrow without rufous crown and white throat. No other “rufous-crowned” sparrows with
olive-green wings and tail. |
