Afternoon with clear skies

Nikon D300, 70-200mm lens

Distance to bird(s): 

As close as 25 feet.

Duration of observation:

Fifteen – twenty minutes

Habitat: 

Canal running through pasture land .

Behavior of bird: 

After parking truck and getting out, approximately 30 swallows were in the air flying. About seven of these were Cave Swallows.

Mixture of swallow twittering.
