Description:

Vireo about the size of a Red-eyed. Brownish crown with indistinct demarcation between dull white supercilium and brown crown. Blackish eyeline. The upperparts were dull olive-brown. The folded wings were the same general color as the rest of the upper parts. There was a faint yellow tinge to the flanks and the undertail coverts. Otherwise, the under parts were dull white. There were obvious and distinct dark malar streaks (whiskers) setting off the white throat. The upper tail was the same general color as the rest of the upper parts. The dark gray bill was long and sharply hooked at the tip. The iris appeared brownish, though I can't say for certain that there were no red tones. The legs were dark.
