13. Habitat: Remnants of coastal chenier

Behavior of bird / circumstances of observation (flying, feeding, resting; include and stress habits used in identification; relate events surrounding observation):  Bird flew up into nearby bare branches of honey locust tree, sat for a few seconds, then flew into nearby live oaks.  It was not relocated.

15. Description:  A bright orange oriole with distinct black eyeline, gular patch, crown, and lores.   Back and wings black; wing coverts extensively white, and with white edges to flight feathers forming broad white wing patch.  Tail orange and black.  Bird seen very briefly.

17. Similar species (include how they were eliminated by your observation):  Baltimore Oriole similar, but face pattern and wing pattern of this bird eliminates Baltimore.  No sign of unusual plumage that would indicate a hybrid.
