Description (include only what was actually seen, not what "should" have been seen; include if possible: total length/relative size compared to other familiar species, body bulk, shape, proportions, bill, eye, leg, and plumage characteristics. Stress features that separate it from similar species): while driving on the Causeway to the south shore, I noticed this big bird flying alongside just to the right, and was able to see front, side, face and back.  It had a light long bill, dark brown head and neck, white breast; brown wings on top, white wings with brown edges underneath

17. Similar species (include how they were eliminated by your observation):  juvenile 1st year Northern Gannet has dark bill

19. Previous experience with this species:  seen 11/1/2013 at Big Lake Cameron Parish, LA with scope; and 12/31/2013 about 20’ away from boat perched on buoy in Lake Pontchartrain St Tammany Parish
