relate events surrounding observation): Bird was eating from a feeder filled
with nuts and shelled seeds and dried berries. |

length/relative size compared to other familiar species, body bulk, shape,
proportions, bill, eye, leg, and plumage characteristics. Stress features
that separate it from similar species): Cardinal size, heavy grosbeak bill,
black head with black back and white markings, rust colored breast and sides
of neck |

your observation): Juvenile Rose breasted grosbeak is similar, but this bird
had black adult colored plumage and rusty breast similar to rusty oriole
color(Orchard Oriole color) |
