Habitat: Open
suburban yard with two 40' live oak trees in front yard. |

Behavior of bird / circumstances of observation (flying,
feeding, resting; include and stress habits used in
identification; relate events surrounding observation): Did not see the bird much. It stayed in one of the live oaks. It
made one short trip to a hummingbird feeder and was seen popping up and down
in the canopy of the live oak several times. |

what "should" have been seen; include if possible: Dark blue throat, dark green body, reddish orange bill with
blackish tip. |
